I'm Nathan Norton, and I got into football betting the same way most people do — watching games with mates, arguing over results, and eventually noticing I had surprisingly firm views on certain leagues. About two years ago the casual interest turned into something I actually took seriously. I started keeping notes on my picks, working out why some came off and, more usefully, why others didn't. Writing things down is what shifted me from a fan running on gut feel to someone trying to look at matches with a bit of structure behind it. I stick to the 1X2 market. To me it's the cleanest read on how a game might go, and it forces you to pick a side rather than dress up indecision as a clever bet. Most of my time goes on team form, tactical matchups, fixture pile-ups, and the patterns managers fall into when the situation calls for it. I'm not trying to cover every league going. I'd much rather know a few competitions inside out than half-know twenty.
